Aman Venice
Europe & North Africa
Situated on the Grand Canal, this lovingly-restored former palazzo couldn’t be much grander or more exquisite. Dating back to 1550, guests arrive by boat and are immediately swept away by the majesty of the glittering interiors. Historic frescos, towering ceilings, a sweeping staircase, grand ballroom and stunning canal views all await those fortunate few who stay here. Protected frescos and reliefs chart the past periods of Venetian art and architecture; with the original walnut bookcases housing gold embossed leather books (from the 16th century) and the Stanza del Tiepolo (games room) showcasing hand-painted and hand-carved treasures. When it comes to dining with a view, the Yellow Dining Room features a magnificent fireplace, painted ceiling and views out to the canal; whilst the private garden allows guests to gaze at the passing gondolas whilst savouring alfresco antipasto and pre-dinner drinks.
